Ammp were a four-piece Alternative/Rock/Indie band from Wellington who I worked with on many of their singles and their only album From the Back of the Sun released in 2011. Their second single Ironman was chosen as the anthem for the New Zealand Ironman Event in Taupo and many of their other singles frequented the NZ Airplay top40. The Don’t Leave single was chosen by Chris Bailey for South Pacific Pictures TV show Go Girls. Lead vocalist Andrew Masseurs would provide a brief, which included the song and lyrics for each of the singles and album we worked on together. I used the singles as a place to experiment with different techniques and styles but always focused on embodying the essence of the song as a visual that intrigued the viewer to listen to the music.
