The internal combustion engine is far from dead. The electric white ware future has a battle on its hands. For a lot of enthusiasts, the electric car is a daunting prospect. Yeah, the Tesla is fast but it sure doesn’t sound like a Ferrari v12 at full wail. Visionary automotive designer Christian Von Koenigsegg and Freevalve have come up with a camless engine that is now about to start real world testing, in the form of a 1.6 LTR unit, in Chinese manufacturer Qoros, 3 model. If all goes well then it should be here to keep the blood pumping in the veins of your car’s heart.
Watch Christian Von Koenigsegg explain how it works here.
